KeithSophie
Keith began studying music at the age of five, first on the piano, then trombone, guitar, electric bass, double bass, and cello. He majored in music performance at the prestigious music school of Indiana University, studying with renowned bassist Bruce Bransby. He later attended the University of South Carolina where he received a degree in music theory and composition.

As a performer and composer, Keith has played Guitar, Bass, and Cello in numerous groups, recorded a solo CD in 2001, plays various freelance gigs, and currently is the music arranger and Cellist (and occasional worship leader) for Downtown Presbyterian Church in Greenville. In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio, Keith is the guitar professor at North Greenville University. He has played in everything from classical symphony orchestras to church praise bands to an Elvis tribute band.

Previously, in addition to being a guitar teacher, Keith was the Orchestra and Praise Band Director for Brushy Creek Baptist Church for four years, directing two adult praise bands, co-directing two youth bands, and leading a twenty person orchestra.
